This CD is dynamite!!! It's NIN at its best!!! Powerfull songs alternating with moody instrumentals and one acoustic song sung on the piano!!!

Let's review the songs one by one:
- 999,999: a short and calm introduction before 1,000,000
- 1,000,000: a punch in the nose!! It sounds pretty much like 'The Hand that feeds' and it fucking ROCKS!!! It even gets as wild as "Pigs" with a pounding and violent snare drum. The finishing line is pervasive: "I don't feel anything at all"!!!!!
- Letting You: You thought it was wild? Well, this one is EVEN WILDER!!! Saturated, screaming vocals, hypnotic and asynchronous rhythm: it's simply CRAZZYY !!!!
- Discipline: this was the first single, released to radio's: a perfect NIN classic, with a great repetitive bass riff and Trent's typical inspirated, adulescent lyrics. Then the rhythm stops and the song builds up again piece by piece with a simple piano riff, the line "Once I start I cannot stop myself" and the instruments coming back one by one: FANTASTIC!!!
- Echoplex: the second song to be released (via Facebook): more in the Year Zero style, but with less computer and more (human) punch: NICE!!
- Head Down: could be my favourite song: starts with a dissonant riff and evolves towards a beautiful melodic chorus ("if this is all a dream and none of you are real"); the end evokes Year Zero with its mad electro, computerized sounds : AMAZING!!!
- Lights in The Sky: a slow song sung on the piano in the tradition of "Something I Can Never Have": BEAUTIFUL !!
- Corona Radiata: an ambient instrumental much in the style of Ghosts.. MYSTERIOUS.....
- The Four of Us Are Dying: One more instrumental with interesting athmospheres...
- Demon Seed: freaky stuff: a completely a-rhythmic, hypnotic construction with Trent whispering, then screaming then whispering again... "There is a Seed inside of me"...

In a nutshell: Trent has summarized and transcended (trent-scended..lol) NIN in one fucking master piece!!!! YOU ARE A GENIUS, brother!

Vivement la tournée en Europe!!!!!!

Le CD a dû retard ?
Quelqu'un est au courant, il devait sortir le 22 juillet, mais il n'était pas dispo !!! Sad

Ghost est sorti en cd il y a peu de temps, je pense qu'il faudra attendre cette automne pour The Slip. Au boulot j'ai vu une prévision pour fin septembre, mais rien de bien précis.
