VOICE OF EYE (usa)

Voice of Eye has reunited after eight years for a 2007 European tour. Their performance incorporates handmade instruments specifically designed and built for this tour: the Jeemna-mini, Bass Thing-mini, Fucking Thing-mini and the original Squawk Box; in addition to Guitar, Flute and Voice. All sound sources are acoustic in origin, then processed through little black boxes to warp time and open the listener’s perception. Voice of Eye’s sound shifts from gentle soundscapes to primal wrenching malevolence with such ease that the listener is unaware of the transition until it is too late and they are fully immersed in the voyage

ASIANOVA (USA)

...was formed as a result off a series of leisurely improvisational Jam sessions between two couples that each had their own seperate groups as duos at the time. Jim Wilson and Bonnie McNairn were just beginning their band "Voice of Eye" while Ure Thrall and Pamela Passmore were performing axts of sonic terrorism around Houston as the power duo "TERMINUS".

This unpredictable and unprecedented collaboration brought forth into the world a breed of sonic mysticism that was unrivaled in its intensity amd complexity. TROUM (D)

TROUM means 'dream'. TROUM chose this Old Germanic term to be able to remember the old and to save the option of looking back even though a returning remains impossible. Troum have established themselves as one of the major forces in modern experimental drone and ethereal ambient music. Troum sounds like a thunderstorm in your heart.

Je ne connais aucun de ces groupes, mais, si ça dit à quelqu'un d'y aller et d'en profiter pour faire connaissance avec un malvoyant-pas-goth (cf. ma présentation ;-), je suis preneur ;-)

J'ai découvert les trois groupes très récement grace à sylvie et Stéphane de Nuit & Brouillard. C'est planant mais également plaisant, de la bonne musique.
J'en serais.
Pour les Norgothiens qui souhaite jeter une oreille il y aura une séquence spéciale dans la prochaine émission de S&SR... c'est tout neuf, donc je le rappel c'est en direct les lundis de 22H30 à 00H00 sur Pastel FM 99.4mhz.
